Texas Children's Hospital Suite

Texas Children's Hospital, is undertaking a thoughtful renovation of its pediatric care floor. My vision is to create a space that brings comfort and a sense of home to children and their families during their stay. A hospital environment can often feel unfamiliar and intimidating, especially for young patients. The goal is to design a setting that is both healing and welcoming. The primary focus of this renovation is to enhance the patient and family experience, while maintaining the highest standards of care and functionality for our dedicated staff. To achieve this, we will incorporate a soothing pastel color palette to fosters a calm atmosphere, balanced with cheerful pops of color to spark joy and optimism for children. Through the use of engaging textile patterns, playful design elements, and thoughtful architectural details, I hope to transform the floor into a space where children feel safe, healthcare professionals are inspired in their work environment, and families feel supported.
