Anderson Residence Project

This project involves designing a forever home for Brian Anderson, a 28-year-old entry-level professional residing in Jupiter, Florida. Brian is single and shares his home with his golden retriever, Marley. As someone who enjoys golfing, spending time outdoors, and hosting family gatherings, Brian values both functionality and lifestyle-driven comfort in his home environment. Jupiter’s coastal charm, abundance of parks, beaches, and golf clubs play a significant role in Brian’s day-to-day life, which informs the overall tone of the design. While he appreciates the area’s natural beauty, Brian prefers a modern coastal aesthetic—one that nods to the surrounding environment without feeling overly themed or nautical.

My design strategy centers around creating an open floor plan that emphasizes natural light, clean lines, and a calm, upscale palette with subtle coastal elements. Special attention will be given to lifestyle-specific features, such as a dining area that comfortably seats four or more guests and a dedicated entertainment space that supports casual gatherings.

This home is intended to serve as a place where Brian can feel grounded, inspired, and fully at ease—whether spending time alone, with Marley, or hosting loved ones. Every element will be thoughtfully tailored to reflect his needs, personality, and long-term vision for homeownership in this vibrant coastal community.
