Commercial Design
During my Commercial Studio courses at MATC, I developed a strong understanding of the delicate approach required in commercial design. Over the course of two-semester long projects-one focused on remodeling an office space and the other on designing a hospital suite, I gained firsthand experience in addressing the complexities of commercial environments. Through these projects, I honed key skills such as space planning according to industry guidelines, selecting appropriate materials and finishes, managing the work-flow of large-scale projects with both efficiency and organization, and understanding and applying ADA compliance. These experiences have equipped me with a solid foundation in commercial design and a deeper appreciation for its technical and strategic demands.
Texas Children's Hospital Suite Project
Texas Children's Hospital located in Houston, Texas, had initiated the renovation of one of its pediatric care floors. The goal was to transform the suite into a space that feels both comforting and welcoming, while prioritizing well-being, efficient staff workflows, and healing.

Basso Digital Marketing Agency Project
Basso Marketing, headquartered just outside of Detriot, Michigan, is preparing to undergo a refreshed and forward-thinking office design. As a company that thrives on helping other brands grow and succeed, it's essential that Basso's workplace reflects that same energy.
